Through&nbsp;<em>Silent Courage<\/em>, I hope to reassure you that you are not alone\u2014many others share similar struggles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beyond sharing my journey, I aim to provide a resource you can turn to, whether you\u2019re advocating for yourself, educating others about introversion and hearing loss, or seeking understanding and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Writing&nbsp;<em>Silent Courage<\/em>&nbsp;was a deeply introspective journey. It allowed me to embrace my identity as an <em>introvert with hearing loss<\/em> and to celebrate the victories\u2014big and small\u2014that have shaped me along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I uncovered invaluable knowledge about hearing and hearing loss. For instance, I learned that damage to the hearing cells in the inner ear, which cannot regenerate, caused my permanent <em>sensorineural hearing loss<\/em> <em>(SNHL)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this book, I hope to share knowledge and help you appreciate the gift of hearing, even if it comes through artificial means.
